Do you ever feel, well… ordinary? I sure do.
I thought by this stage of life I’d have it all together. I’d be living my dream. I’d be successful beyond imagination. I’d be “somebody.” I’d be a princess… Ok, but I really did think my life would be different from the way it looks now. You know what I mean?
I’ve found that rather than becoming more focused as I’ve aged, my life feels more scattered. I’m a wife, a mother of an adult son, a mother-in-love, and a grandma. I’m the wife of a hubby suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. I’m a writer, a speaker, a trainer, and a prayer minister. I’m a Boomer, facing all the joys and challenges of that life stage. Sometimes it’s easy to feel I’ve missed my calling.
